About Chantelle Hope-Hodgetts is an Australian born Actor and Singer. She began training and performing at a young age which lead her to pursue her passion for Musical Theatre in New York City where she lived and worked up until recently. Chantelle is newly based in Melbourne, Australia.
Training & Education In New York City Chantelle was awarded a scholarship for exceptional talent to study at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy). She has also studied at Griffith Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane, Australia and NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) in Sydney, Australia. Chantelle has had the privilege of studying with Broadway, Film and leading academic professionals in New York such as Elaine Petrocoff-Cohen, Dan Daily, Phillip George, Tom Morrissey, Jason Chaet, Dr Brian Gill, Kyle Scatliffe, Casey Levy, Teri Ralston and many more.
Stage Chantelle has performed in over 30 musical theatre productions with highlights including Mother in A Christmas Story, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Maria in The Sound of Music,Cosette in Les Miserables and Rosemary in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Chantelle has performed at world famous venues such as cabaret club Don't Tell Mama, in Midtown Manhattan and Off-Broadway at the Broadway Comedy Club, Woodstock Playhouse, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Commonwealth Games opening ceremony and surrounding events and QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre), Brisbane.
Television Chantelle played the lead role of Linda Culbertson on the TV show "The Deadliest Decade" soon to be aired on the Discovery Investigation Channel.
Commercial Since working in New York City, Chantelle has appeared in numereous Ad campaigns including "Budweiser's, Bud Light Lime-A-Rita" and "FM Mortgage and Home Loans".
